Levi J. Cramer

Levi J. Cramer

Candidate for Middletown City Council

Levi J. Cramer is proud to be a fifth generation Middletonian with a rich family history of public service. The son of a nurse and a landscaper, Levi has always called Middletown home. His great-grandfather, Judge Fred B. Cramer, served in the Butler County Court of Common Pleas as “the People’s Judge” for 39 years, still to this day holding the record for longest serving public official in Butler County history. This tradition of service is something Levi does not take lightly and is a something he strives to emulate. He considers the opportunities he has had to serve others as the greatest honor of his life.
Levi is a graduate with honors of Middletown High School. He received his bachelor’s degree a year early from The Ohio State University in Political Science with dual specializations in American Government and International Relations. He was a member of the Politics Society and Law Scholars and served as the Senior Director of Governmental Affairs for the 50,000 students at Ohio State while volunteering his time on multiple political campaigns. Between graduating early and working 40 hours a week as bartender, Levi was able to earn his degree without acquiring any student loan debt.
Levi currently works in the private sector while volunteering his time with various boards and political organizations in Middletown and Butler County. He serves as the Vice President of the Middletown Parades Committee, and as a board member with Keep Middletown Beautiful. He is a member of Berachah Church.
I am proud to be running for City Council because I don’t want to have to open a history book to see the glory days of Middletown, I want to walk down the streets of downtown and throughout our neighborhoods and see them.
